|Issue||remote administration fails on startup|
Error : "Unable to synchronize time with authentication server"
|Cause||This is an indication that the ACE/Server is not running or that the network link between the remote admin and the ACE/Server is down.|
|Resolution||Try to ping from the Remote admin system to the ace/server. If this fails, troubleshoot the network problem. Check to insure that the ace/server process is running. On Windows NT, check the Services applet under the Control Panel group. In UNIX, perform a ps -ef | grep ace. The results will show you if the ace/server process is running.|
