Issueiisreset.exe causes IIS server to issue Error 500 messages when using RSA ClearTrust Agent 4.5 for Microsoft IIS
When starting the IIS server applications run correctly, but after issuing an iisreset.exe, application pages generate an error 500 message
Error: "DCOM got error "Overlapped I/O operation is in progress. " and was unable to logon. \IWAM_LRKWSIPR1 in order to run the server{3D14228D-FBE1-11D0-995D-00C04FD919C1}" in Windows Event log
CauseThis can occur if the IWAM_<computername> account does not have sufficient rights to run the application, or if the IWAM accounts effective policy settings do not allow "Logon as a batch job." If a Global Domain Policy object modifies these rights, then the IIS server may start correctly because it creates a temporary local policy, but may not run after an iisreset.exe. Resolution

To correct this issue, ensure that the IWAM_<computername> account has sufficient rights to enable the COM+ applications to run. Ensure that the IWAM_<computername> account has a policy that allows "Logon as a batch Job".
