|Issue||Keon: Is it possible to install the Administration Server and the Enrollment Server on different computers?|
Customers needs to install the KCA Administration server within a protected zone or DMZ not reachable by the users
|Resolution||RSA Security Professional Services can provide this solution by moving some of the components of a full KCA installation to a second computer. This procedure is not documented, and requires specific customization.|
An alternative is to use a Registration Authority to function as the "public" interface to the users. Hence, the KCA installation can be installed in a "protected" or DMZ zone and only access from the RA would be allowed to this protected zone.
