IssueHow to register RSA BSAFE Crypto-J JCE provider (jsafeJCE.jar or jsafeJCEFIPS.jar) to use in an IBM WebSphere application
Exception in web application: "java.security.NoSuchProviderException: No such provider: JsafeJCE"
CauseThe jsafeJCE.jar (or jsafeJCEFIPS.jar) file is not in the right directory (e.g. this problem occurs if it is in the <WAS_ROOT>\AppServer\lib\ext directory)
ResolutionTo correct this issue, copy the jsafeJCE.jar (or jsafeJCEFIPS.jar) file to the <WAS_ROOT>\AppServer\java\jre\lib\ext\ directory instead and add/change the Classpath in the WebSphere Administrative Console under Environment > Shared Libraries.
