IssueRSA ClearTrust Entitlements Manager (Admin GUI) does not seem to handle userID containing "#" correctly
Number character (#) in RSA ClearTrust userID leads to strange issues when trying to promote the user to an administrative role
Strange characters added to RSA ClearTrust userID containing number character (#) when editing the user through Entitlements Manager (Admin GUI)
ResolutionIt was noticed that if any of the user's fields first name, last name, or email address contain a "#", the string is corrupted when clicking the "User is an RSA ClearTrust administrator" checkbox. For example, if the field "First Name" contains "user#1", after clicking the checkbox "User is an RSA ClearTrust administrator" in RSA ClearTrust Entitlements Manager (Admin GUI), the value will be modified to "user#1".

This issue has been resolved in a hot fix for RSA ClearTrust 5.5.3. Contact RSA Security Customer Support to obtain hot fix 5.5.3.71, or request the latest fix level (which is cumulative, and contains fixes from previous fix levels).
