How to list all administrative roles of an RSA ClearTrust administrative user
Using the RSA ClearTrust Administrative API, retrieving all of the administrative roles of an administrative user is apparently impossible without having the administrative user's password to execute the call APIServerProxy.getAdminRolesIdsForUser( ). In RSA ClearTrust 5.5.3, the IAdministrativeUser interface has exposed the method .getRoles( ) which returns a list of all roles to which the IAdministrativeUser is assigned. How does one do the same thing in ClearTrust 5.5.2?
ResolutionThe .getRoles( ) method was actually exposed in the IAdministrativeUser in RSA ClearTrust hot fix, so any version of the Administrative API later than that hot fix level makes the .getRoles( ) method available. The documentation for this method can be found in the RSA ClearTrust 5.5.3 Developer's Guide.
