IssueHow to confirm the RSA Archer version after upgrade.
Recently upgraded, but the web interface was still indicating that it was an older version.
Database queries and information within Archer Control Panel had indicated the correct version.
Tasks1. Check that all three components (Web, Service, Database) have been run on all servers
2. Verify no database migrations were made after the installation
3. If there are multiple web sites within IIS, the installer must be run once for each.

Resolution

Most likely, one of the Archer servers in the environment was not upgraded, the wrong installer was used, or the Archer web site was not upgraded. Try the following steps on each Archer server to confirm the file versions:

  1. Open Windows Task Manager and locate the ArcherTech.Services.ConfigurationService.exe process.
  2. Right-click the process and select Properties.
  3. From the Properties window, select the Details tab and locate the Version information.
  4. From IIS Manager, right-click each Archer web site and select Explore.
  5. From the Windows Explorer window, open the bin folder and locate the ArcherTech.Kernel.dll file.
  6. Right-click the file and select Properties.
  7. From the Properties window, select the Details tab and locate the Version information.
