You can test the connection between the Cloud Authentication Service and RSA Authentication Manager using the Cloud Administration Console for the Cloud Authentication Service. Testing determines if the Cloud Authentication Service can communicate with the Authentication Manager server through each configured identity router. RSA recommends that you test the connection each time you restart Authentication Manager services.
Note: This procedure tests the connection configured using these instructions: Enable RSA SecurID Token Users to Access Resources Protected by the Cloud Authentication Service.
Before you begin
- You must be a Super Admin in the Cloud Administration Console for the Cloud Authentication Service.
- Deploy at least one identity router and connect it to the Authentication Manager server using the Cloud Administration Console. For instructions, see Connect Your Cloud Authentication Service Deployment to RSA Authentication Manager.
- In the Cloud Administration Console, click Platform > Authentication Manager.
Click Test Connection.
After you finish
A graphic shows the connection status for each configured identity router. If any components are not connected, investigate the cause.
