The Cloud Authentication Service generates messages that are triggered by user events. You can view these events using the Event Monitor in the Cloud Administration Console.

An event message has the following components.

Component Purpose
Event Code Unique number that identifies the event.
Level Indicates if the event is a notification or error.
Category Classifies the event by action or component. For example, authentication or device management.
Description Describes the specific event. For example, Approve authentication succeeded.

Event Levels

The Cloud Authentication Service supports two event levels.

Event Level Description
Notice Indicates a successful operation or process. For example, a notice message indicates success for user device registration or authentication method verification.
Error Indicates an error or failure. For example, an error message is generated when user device registration or authentication fails.
