Issue

When a new CA PEM file is uploaded for Portal SSL, this error is shown, as in the following example:

"Certificate Chain valid until: null"

Certificate Chain valid until: null

However, it is still possible to click Save Settings to save the change, after which "Certificate Chain Loaded" is displayed, as shown below:

Certificate Chain Loaded

After saving the change and subsequent publishes, Via Access works normally.

CauseThe is a software defect that will be fixed in a future product update.
Workaround
  1. Before uploading a new Certificate Chain file, check that it has a valid expiry date (not yet expired) and that all other aspects of the certificate are valid.  Checks can be done using a third party tool, e.g. renaming the PEM-format Certificate Chain file to have a ".crt" suffix will allow you to browse certificate field values in Microsoft Windows (double click the file in Windows Explorer).
  2. If "Certificate Chain valid until: null" is displayed after uploading a new Certificate Chain file, ignore the message and go ahead and click the "Save Settings" button.  If all else is configured correctly, the RSA Via Access Portal should operate normally.
