Issue
  1. A Date Field is configured to use the "Future Date" function
    1. Administration
    2. Application Builder
    3. Manage Application/Questionnaire
    4. Select Module in question
    5. Select the Date Field in question
    6. Select the Options tab and scroll down to the "Configuration" section.  Notice Default Value is set to "Future Date" with an X value.
  2. A Notification is configured with criteria for "Date Field", Operator = "Current" and Value = "Day"

CauseThe above logic will not work. A notification that is evaluating "Current Day" is reviewing the record content at the time of evaluation. If the date field does not contain the "current date" (today), it will not pass evaluation and the notification will not fire.

ResolutionRemove the "Future Date" configuration from the Date Field and re-test. Assuming all other criteria is met, notification will fire.
Consider using Reminder Notifications.
