ESA Config: Start, Stop, or Restart ESA Service

This topic provides instructions to start, stop, or restart Event Stream Analysis service. 

Start ESA Service

Before you start:

  • Make sure that MongoDB is running. 
  • If the MongoDB service is not running, use the following command to start the MongoDB service:
    service tokumx start

To start ESA service:

  1. Use ssh to connect to the ESA service and log in as the root user.
  2. Type the following command and press ENTER:
    service  rsa-esa start

Stop ESA Service

To stop ESA service:

  1.  Use ssh to connect to the ESA service and log in as the root user.
  2. Type the following command and press ENTER:
    service rsa-esa stop

Restart ESA Service

To restart ESA service:

  1. Use ssh to connect to the ESA service and log in as the root user.
  2. Type the following command and press ENTER:
    service rsa-esa restart
