IssueAfter rebooting a Red Hat Linux appliance, the RSA Via L&G user interface is inaccessible. The browser displays a  "This page can't be displayed" error.

  • You try different browsers with the same results.
  • The database is up and running. You can connect to the database via SQL*Plus as 'avuser' and see the RSA Via L&G tables and views.
  • ACM status shows the system is up and running:
$ acm status
Aveksa Compliance Manager Server is running

  • The aveksaServer.log shows a smooth startup without errors.
CauseThere is a problem with /etc/sysconfig/iptables. It could have been corrupted somehow. FOr example, it could have been deleted, modified, restored to its default configuration, etc. 
ResolutionFollow the steps in the section entitled "Firewall Configuration for Red Hat" to reconfigure /etc/sysconfig/iptables in the installation guide for your product version:
