For updates earlier than 10.5.1, this topic explains how to search for host updates and update a selected host.

The Hosts view enables you to manage host updates using a local Security Analytics update repository that can automatically synchronize with the RSA update server to get Red Hat Package Manager (RPM) files that apply to connected hosts.

For more detailed update procedures, see Manage Security Analytics Updates in System Maintenance guide.

Check for Host Updates

  1. In the Security Analytics menu, select Administration > Hosts.
  2. In the Hosts view, select a host and select > Check Updates.

If updates are available, the status in the Updates column changes to Update (Number of RPMs available for update).

    For example:

Apply all Available Updates to a Host

This procedure installs all of the available updates on the selected host. To select the updates that you want to install on the host, follow the Apply Selected Updates to a Host procedure below.

  2. If updates are available, select a host and select > Update.
