If you set up external user authentication, you can map Security Analytics user roles to an external group. The External Group Mapping tab provides information about each external group to which you have mapped roles. 

  1. In the Security Analytics menu, select Administration > Security.
    The Security view is displayed with the Users tab open.
  2. Click the External Group Mapping tab.

Features

The External Group Mapping tab consists of a tool bar and grid. 

The grid has the following features.

                
FeatureDescription
Selection boxIn a row, toggles selection of a group name. In the title bar, toggles selection of all group names.
Group NameDisplays the name of the external group that has access to Security Analytics.
Mapped RolesDisplays the Security Analytics roles mapped to the external group.

The toolbar has the following features.

                
FeatureDescription
Icon-Add.pngDisplays the Add Role Mapping dialog in which you can select an external group and map it to a Security Analytics role.
rule_del.pngDisplays a warning message and asks for confirmation to remove all Security Analytics roles mapped to the external group.
icon-edit.pngDisplays the Edit Role Mapping dialog in which you can add or remove Security Analytics roles from the external group.
