Reporting: Delete a Rule

Make sure that you understand the Rule view components. For more information, see Rule View.

Perform the following steps to delete a rule:

  1. In the Security Analytics menu, click Dashboard > Reports.
    The Manage tab is displayed.
  2. In the Rules panel, do one of the following.
    • Select a rule and click  in the Rule toolbar.
    • Hover the mouse over a rule and click  > Delete.
      A confirmation dialog is displayed, as shown below.


Note: If a rule is being used in a report, a warning that the rule is in use and cannot be deleted is displayed.

  1. Click Yes to delete the rule.
    A confirmation message that the rule is deleted successfully is displayed and the selected rule is deleted from the Rule List panel.
