Security Analytics provides a way to monitor the status and operations of a service. The Service Stats view displays key statistics, service system information, and host system information for a device. In addition more than 80 statistics are available for viewing as gauges, and in timeline charts. Only statistics for session size, sessions, and packets are viewable in historical timeline charts.

Although different statistics are available for different types of services, certain elements are common for any Core  device. See Service Stats view in Hosts and Services Getting Started for a description of the available statistics.

To monitor service statistics in Security Analytics:

  1. In the Security Analytics menu, select Administration > Services.
    The Services view is displayed.
  2. Select a service, and select View > Stats in the Actions column. decoder_service_stats1.PNG

  3. To customize the view: Collapse or expand charts, for example expand the Chart Stats Tray to see available charts. Drag a section up or down to change the sequence. For example, drag the Gauges section to the top so that it is above the Summary Stats section.
