Summary

This on-demand learning presents an overview of the process to configure and use RSA Via Access Tokencodes with RSA SecurID Agents.

Overview

This on-demand learning describes the product architecture, setup, configuration and use of RSA Via Tokens with traditional RSA SecurID Agents. Using an RSA Via Tokencode through the RSA Via Mobile App offers another authentication method to users accessing applications and systems that are already protected with RSA SecurID and Agents connected with RSA Authentication Manager.

Audience

IT and System Engineers who may be asked to integrate the authentication capabilities of both RSA Via Access and RSA Authentication Manager products.

Delivery Type

On-Demand Learning

Duration

30 minutes

Prerequisite Knowledge/Skills

Students should have familiarity both RSA SecurID Access [RSA Via Access] and RSA Authentication Manager products. This course concentrates specifically on the integrated authentication process for RSA SecurID Agents and does not provide extensive information on the individual products involved.

Learning Objectives

Upon successful completion of this course, participants should be able to:

  • Understand how RSA Via Access Tokencodes can be used with RSA SecurID Agents
  • Know how to configure RSA Authentication Manager to process Via Tokencode
    authentication

Course Outline

  • Architecture and Authentication Flow
▬ Review of RSA Via Access and RSA Authentication Manager architecture
    ▬ Review of Trusted Realms
▬ Authentication flow in an integrated authentication model
  • Implementation
▬ Component configurations and Administrative tasks
    ▬ Identity Source considerations

Demonstrations
▬ Configuring the trust relationship between RSA Authentication Manager and RSA Via Access Identity Routers
▬ End user experience – Authenticating with a Via Tokencode
