IssueThis article provides the command to determine the RSA Authentication Manager version via command line.
ResolutionTo determine the patch level of the Authentication Manager 8.x server(s) in the deployment via command line, 
  1. From the primary's Operations Console, navigate to Administration > Operating System Access.
  2. If it is not already enabled, check the box for Enable SSH.  When done, click Save.
  3. Open an SSH session on the Authentication Manager primary and login as the rsaadmin user:
login as: rsaadmin
Password: <enter the operating system user password>

  1. Navigate to /opt/rsa/am/utils.
  2. Run the command ./rsautil -l | tail -1 | rev | cut -d ' ' -f 2 | rev.  The patch level will be echoed back.  In this example, the server is running Authentication Manager 8.1 SP1 patch 13.
login as: rsaadmin
Using keyboard-interactive authentication.
Password: <enter the operating system user password>
Last login: Thu Aug 25 11:57:05 2016 from jumphost.vcloud.local
RSA Authentication Manager Installation Directory: /opt/rsa/am

  1. Repeat steps 1 - 4 on any replicas in the deployment.
