IssueSome users do not have the capability to drop a value onto another value (i.e. add a "child" or nested value to another value) when configuring a values list. Other users are able to make this change in the same application and in the same values list.
CauseThis problem is browser-related.
  • If you are using Internet Explorer, you cannot create a nested values list if the browser zoom level is set to anything other than 100%.  Currently Archer does not support browser zoom levels, so this is working as intended.  However, there is an open enhancement request to add support for zoom levels. The reference number for the enhancement request is:
ARCHER-22205 "Scalability of the Archer UI display on Browsers"

  • With Firefox, there is a software defect that prevents dropping a value onto another to create a nested values list.  The reference number for the defect is:
ARCHER-28205 "Unable to create nested values list using Firefox"

ResolutionUse Internet Explorer with the zoom level set to 100%.
WorkaroundFor Firefox, until the defect is fixed you will need to use Internet Explorer with zoom set to 100% in order to create nested values.
