How to configure Archer for Windows Integrated SSO?

ResolutionInstructions for configuring Single Sign-On are provided in the Archer Control Panel Help documentation. For SSO with Windows Authentication, the basic steps are:
  1. Configure LDAP synchronization in the Archer UI. See the Archer Help documentation for instructions.
  2. In IIS Manager, change the authentication settings for the Archer web site. Disable Anonymous and enable Windows Authentication.
  3. Modify the web.config file for windows authentication. 
    1. For Archer version 5.x, download the Archer web.config editor utility from the Archer customer/partner community on RSA Link. Instructions for using the utility are provided on-screen.   https://community.rsa.com/docs/DOC-41415
    2. For Archer version 6.x, there are detailed instructions in the Archer Control Panel Help documentation for modifying the file.
  4. In the Archer Control Panel:
    1. In the Instance settings, change the Single Sign-On setting to Windows Authentication.
    2. In the Installation settings, make the instance the default instance.
