RSA would like to inform customers that RSA Federated Identity Manager has entered the End of Life phase of its Product Lifecycle. RSA will no longer develop new features, functionality for, or versions of RSA FIM.
Existing RSA Federated Identity Manager customers may obtain additional licenses or expand existing deployments until December 31, 2015.
RSA Federated Identity Manager will reach its End of Primary Support (EOPS) on June 30, 2017. Primary Support is designed to provide hot fixes for product defects and security vulnerabilities.
RSA FIM will reach its End of Extended Support (EOXS) on June 30, 2019. In the first year of extended support, customers receive benefits provided by their previous support agreement for all Severity 1 cases, including hot fixes to product defects if necessary. For cases of other severity levels, customers receive commercial reasonable support efforts but no hot fixes. In the second year of extended support, customers will receive technical support assistance as well as workarounds to product defects for Severity 1 cases. Hot fixes are not included.

RSA recommends that customers consider whether existing deployments may need to be expanded prior to the deadline on December 31, 2015.
RSA recommends that customers engage with their account manager or RSA Customer Support about Extended Support options and product migration options.
