Authentify (service provider of out-of-band phone and out-of-band SMS authentications), will be conducting a planned maintenance to replace their production SSL certificates and notification from Authentify is as follows:

Category: Planned Maintenance

Product: SSL Certificates

Environment: Production

Expected start time: Tuesday, October 18th at 1:00 pm CST / 17:00 UTC

Expected end time: Tuesday, October 18th at 2:00 pm CST / 18:00 UTC

Reason for Notification

Authentify will be performing scheduled maintenance to replace the SSL certificates in the Production environment. In keeping with Early Warning's standards, the new certificates will be signed by Digicert.

Is there any customer action required?

Depending on your configuration, you may need to add the new Digicert chain to your certificate trust store prior to the certificate switch.

If you require a copy of the new public certificate, you must send a request to RSA Support with the Subject line: Public Cert request to Authentify. In your request, please indicate for which environment you require a public certificate.

Will there be any customer impact or service disruption?

The Authentify system is designed to allow Authentify to perform system maintenance without affecting Production traffic. There is no expected customer impact as long as  you are adhering to their "No DNS Cache" requirement to ensure that you are not exposing yourself to risk by caching the service URLs and/or not honoring the configured TTL value.

Where should customers send session requests?

You should continue to send session requests to

https://trans.authentify.net/s2s/default.asp (, and the Global Traffic Manager will route the request to the URL that is active and available for requests.

Which service URLs will be affected?

During this maintenance, one of the service URLs will be taken offline while work is being performed on the site. Traffic will be routed to the active service URL to ensure normal operation.

The affected service URLs are below:

The polling URL,https://transp1.authentify.net/s2s/default.asp ( will receive system updates and will be offline for some time. During this time, all sessions will be routed to an alternate URL.

The polling URL,https://transp2.authentify.net/s2s/default.asp ( will receive system updates and will be offline for some time. During this time, all sessions will be routed to an alternate URL.
The certificates to be replaced are attached.
