When access is needed into the database for RSA Identity Governance and Lifecycle to create reports or custom workflows for example, it is recommended to always go against the public schema documented in the Public Database Schema Reference Guide, available here for 7.0.1 and here for earlier versions. Accessing the data through these views is less likely to change between versions, and any changes will be documented. Using internal tables directly instead of these public views will eventually cause your customizations to fail after an upgrade, as changes that are not documented are made to the underlying database schema.
The views constitute the public interface for the RSA Identity Governance and Lifecycle database and are intended to insulate the internal implementation and to provide a simplified path to query the data.
The RSA Identity Governance and Lifecycle public views are accessed from a separately configured Oracle user account, ACMDB, installed on the same database instance with the base RSA Identity Governance and Lifecycle database. Please check with your RSA Identity Governance and Lifecycle system administrator for the specific password used to access this account. If you are accessing these public views instead through AVUSER, you will need to prefix the view name with PV_. For example view USERS would be PV_USERS when accessed through the AVUSER account.
The RSA Identity Governance and Lifecycle public views are dynamically updated to reflect any custom attribute configuration on the base system schema. For example, if a customer extended the RSA Identity Governance and Lifecycle users table and added other attributes such as Workforce, ID, DN, Cost Center, and so on, then these attributes would automatically be added to the public USERS view. This document presents the default schema and identifies the views that may change based on custom attribute settings.
The following is a list of views by Category and by Name. For more detailed information on individual columns and relationships between views, please consult the RSA Identity Governance and Lifecycle Public Database Schema Reference Guide for your version of RSA Identity Governance and Lifecycle.
