When clicking on an iView of a chart generated from a global report on the dashboard and modifying the "drill down report", clicking "save report changes" throws an unknown exception error. This generates an error within the w3wp logs "value cannot be null" within the stacktrace.

When the user is given system administrator rights, or when a system administrator performs the same actions, clicking the "save report changes" button doesn't throw the error, however when it goes to the save report screen, the selected users/group is empty. 
Applying "Everyone" in the selected user/group section and saving the report shows an error "Report name is not unique"

Expectation: When accessing the drill down report from the iView on the dashboard, "Save Report Changes" should be greyed out to prevent the application/solution owner or report administrator from getting the unknown exception error and force the user to access the report from the parent/source report.

CauseWhen accessing the report through the iView, you are actually accessing the drill-down report from the iView on the dashboard and not the source report. 
ResolutionCurrently there is a JIRA ticket open: ARCHER-28306  to prevent saving an existing report while accessing the report through an iView on the dashboard only leaving the option to create a new report.
WorkaroundSave as a new report or to save existing changes of the report, access the source report through the reports listing if you want to save changes to the existing report.
