IssueIn the Investigation Module on the UI, there exists more than one way to quantify the meta key values.
When using the Packet Count quantification method, sometimes the meta key value appears as a negative number, as shown in the screenshot below.

CauseThis is actually a bug in Google Chrome. At a zoom level of 90%, Google Chrome shows the tilde sign (~) as a hyphen (-). 
As per the below screenshot,

WorkaroundUsing a zoom value that is either less/more than 90% will show the correct  sign. 
The screenshots below show more details on how the zoom levels affect the Tilde sign:
