Technical Details ExplanationWhen Nessus does a scan on port 8140 the service (puppet) returns a banner which lists the OpenSSL version without the patch information.
As Nessus doesn't have the patch information this will cause it to think that RSA Security Analytics is using a very old version of OpenSSL.
RSA Security Analytics 10.6.1 and higher is using OWB (OpenSSL with RSA BSAFE) which packs the latest version of OpenSSL.
In RSA Security Analytics 10.6.2, the OpenSSL version implemented is the latest and resolves all the reported OpenSSL issues.
Details can be found by executing the command "rpm -qi libowb1_0_1 | less" in RSA Security Analytics via an SSH session.
