RSA announces the release of RSA Adaptive Authentication (On-Premise) 7.3 Patch 2 (7.3 P2)

Summary:

With this release, RSA provides new enhancements and fixes to issues reported on RSA Adaptive Authentication (On-Premise) 7.x previously released versions. This release also extends the supported platforms available.

 

What's New in This Release:

  • Case Management Enhancement. RSA Adaptive Authentication (On-Premise) 7.3 P2 introduces a new field—IP ISP Name—in the Case Management application.

 

  • Security Enhancement. RSA Adaptive Authentication (On-Premise) 7.3 P2 introduces an upgrade to the hashing algorithm of sensitive information to a more secure algorithm. Starting from 7.3P2 support for SHA-2 (also known as SHA-256) has been added with backward compatibility and migration logic.

 

  • Additional Certifications. RSA Adaptive Authentication (On-Premise) 7.3 P2 introduces the following additional certifications:
  • Microsoft SQL Server 2014
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.2
  • Hibernate 4.3.11.Final
  • Spring Framework 4.1.9.RELEASE

 

  • Retired Support. RSA Adaptive Authentication (On-Premise) 7.3 P2 retires support for the following:
  • Java 6
  • Microsoft SQL Server 2005
  • Apache Tomcat 6.x
  • Oracle WebLogic 10.3.0 to 10.3.3
  • IBM WebSphere 7
  • Red Hat JBoss 5.1 and 5.2

 

Upgrade:

RSA Adaptive Authentication (On-Premise) 7.3 Patch 2 includes a direct upgrade from RSA Adaptive Authentication (On-Premise) 7.3 or 7.3 P1.

RSA Adaptive Authentication (On-Premise) 7.3 Patch 2 is available for download.
