IssueTroubleshooting a RADIUS issue may require going beyond what is available in the Administration Console's User Event Monitor.
This article provides information on the location of the RADIUS-related log files and how are they accessed.
ResolutionRADIUS-related log files can be downloaded from an Identity Router appliance as described in Generate and Download an Identity Router Log Bundle.
The RADIUS logs can be found in two separate directories:
  1. The FreeRADIUS server log is at /var/log/radius/radius.log.
  2. The RSA Java component that proxies communication between the FreeRADIUS server and the cloud authentication service writes logs to /var/log/radiusj.  The /var/log/radiusj/radius-audit.log shows similar information as the User Event Monitor while the /var/log/radiusj/radiuisj.log contains SecurID Authentication API message information.
