Token policies determine RSA SecurID PIN lifetime and format, and fixed passcode lifetime and format. They are assigned to security domains and apply to all tokens assigned to users managed by a given security domain.

You assign the token policy by editing the security domain. All security domains use the default token policy until you assign a different token policy.

Note:  Even if a security domain does not use the default token policy, all new security domains created under it use the default policy until you assign a new one.

  1. In the Security Console, click Administration > Security Domains > Manage Existing.

  2. Use the search fields or browse the security domain hierarchy to find the security domain to which you want to assign a token policy.

  3. From the search results, click the security domain with which you want to work.

  4. From the context menu, click Edit.

  5. From the SecurID Token Policy drop-down menu, select the token policy that you want to assign to the security domain.

  6. Click Save.
