To manually update the IP address of an existing agent, you must edit the agent record.

Procedure

  1. In the Security Console, click Access > Authentication Agents > Manage Existing.

  2. Click the Restricted or Unrestricted tab, depending on whether the agent that you want to search for is restricted or unrestricted.

  3. Use the search fields to find the agent with the IP address that you want to update.

  4. Click the agent with the IP address that you want to update, and click Edit.

  5. In the IP Address field, enter the IP address of the agent.

If you choose to use an existing server name, this field is automatically populated and read-only.

  6. In the Alternate IP Address field, enter alternate IP addresses for the agent.

The alternate IP addresses are used, for example, if the agent has more than one network interface card, or is located behind a static NAT firewall. It is possible that your agent does not have alternate IP addresses.

  7. Click Save.
