Perform these tasks following an administrator error, or if the system becomes unavailable, for example, because of hardware failure or a problem with network connectivity.





You deleted the only Super Admin.

Create a new Super Admin.

Restore the Super Admin

No administrators are assigned the Super Admin role.

Assign the Super Admin role to an administrator.

Super Admin Restoration

The primary instance hardware has failed. Either the hardware appliance has failed, or the hardware that hosts the virtual appliance has failed.

Promote a replica instance to a primary instance.

Promote a Replica Instance for Disaster Recovery

You do not have a working replica instance, or both the primary and replica instances failed.

Deploy a new appliance, and restore the primary instance using a backup.
