Software token profiles specify software token configuration and distribution options. When you edit a software token profile, you can update information about the software token profile, such as the profile name. You can not update the device type for a software token profile after you add it.

Note:  Make sure you configure the token before distributing it to the user. If you reconfigure the token after the user has imported it to the device, you must redistribute the token and tell the user to reimport the token.

  1. In the Security Console, click Authentication > Software Token Profiles > Manage Existing.

  2. Click the software token profile that you want to edit.

  3. In the context menu, select Edit.

  4. Make any necessary changes to the software token profile.

  5. Click Save.

After you finish

(Optional) To apply the updated software token profile to tokens that were already distributed, you must unassign and reassign the tokens. Tell the users to reimport their tokens.
