Reporting: Delete a Rule Group

This topic provides instructions to delete a rule group.


Make sure that you understand the Rule view components. For more information, see Rule View.


Perform the following steps to delete a rule group:

  1. In the Security Analytics menu, click Administration > Reports.

    The Manage tab is displayed.

  2. In the Rule Groups panel, select the rule group that you want to delete.
  3. Click .

    A confirmation dialog is displayed.


    Note: If any one of the rules in the group is being used in reports, a warning that the rule is in use and cannot be deleted is displayed.

  4. Click Yesto delete the group.

    A confirmation message that the group is deleted successfully is displayed and the selected group is deleted from the Rule Groups panel.
