This topic provides high-level configuration steps for Broker and Concentrators.

Setting up a Broker or Concentrator involves configuration of the basic service, the aggregate services, and the aggregation process between a Broker or Concentrator and the aggregate services.

Configuration Checklist

The following checklist provides the sequence for tasks that are required to configure a Broker or Concentrator that has been added to Security Analytics and has an entitlement allocated from the local license server.

1Verify system configuration default values for the host and service are appropriate.
2Configure parameters that govern the overall aggregation process.
3Configure aggregate services.
4Start and stop aggregation.

Group Aggregation

If you want to configure multiple Archiver or Concentrator services as a group and share the aggregation tasks between them, refer to Group Aggregation in the "Deployment Guide."
