RSA announces the upcoming release of Adaptive Authentication (Cloud) 13.1

 

New in this Version

RSA Adaptive Authentication (Cloud) 13.1 includes the following new features and enhancements.

 

Certification of TeleSign as Out-of-Band (OOB) Phone and SMS provider

RSA Adaptive Authentication (Cloud) 13.1 integrates TeleSign as another 3rd party provider for OOB Phone and OOB SMS authentication. Customers can now select between two 3rd party providers - Authentify (Early Warning), which is currently supported; and TeleSign.

Customers choosing to use TeleSign as their 3rd party provider for OOB SMS, will benefit from a wide range of supported languages and the flexibility of using different text messages per event.

Customers choosing to use TeleSign as their 3rd party provider for OOB Phone, will benefit from a wide range of supported languages.

 

Upgrade Information

Upgrade from Adaptive Authentication (Hosted) 11.x to 13.1

Adaptive Authentication (Cloud) 13.1 and Adaptive Authentication (Hosted) 11.x are hosted in different environments which are maintained in parallel, allowing for a gradual upgrade to Adaptive Authentication (Cloud) 13.1. Unlike in previous upgrades, the upgrade from Adaptive Authentication (Hosted) 11.x to Adaptive Authentication (Cloud) 13.1 will not be implemented automatically for all Adaptive Authentication (Cloud) customers. For information about the upgrade, see the RSA Adaptive Authentication 13.1 Upgrade Guide in the Adaptive Authentication (Cloud) 13.1 documentation set.

Upgrade from Adaptive Authentication (Cloud) 13.0 to 13.1

The upgrade from Adaptive Authentication (Cloud) 13.0 to Adaptive Authentication (Cloud) 13.1 will be implemented automatically for all Adaptive Authentication (Cloud) 13.0 customers.

 

User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Availability

The UAT environment will be available on August 6, 2017.
