|Applies To||RSA Product Set: RSA Identity Governance and Lifecycle|
RSA Version/Condition: 7.0.1, 7.0.2
|Issue||RSA Identity Governance and Lifecycle Account Data Collector (ADC) and Entitlement Data Collectors (EDC) are slow in step Calculate Role Metrics of the Indirect Relationship Processing task|
An Oracle Automatic Workload Repository (AWR) report shows the following two queries as consuming most of the time.
INSERT INTO GTT_ROLECONSTRAINT_USERS (ID) SELECT ID FROM T_MASTER_ENTERPRISE_USERS USERS WHERE DELETION_DATE IS NULL AND ...
BEGIN Common_Exploder.Process(:1 , :2 ); END;
|Cause||This issue may occur if the database statistics package has not completed an initial run on table T_AV_USER_ACCOUNT_MAPPINGS. It is more likely to occur immediately after a new installation.|
|Resolution||Generate an Aveksa System Report (ASR) from the Diagnostics tab under the Admin System menu. |
In the Database Performance Statistics section, inspect the column for Last Analyzed Date for the table T_AV_USER_ACCOUNT_MAPPINGS. If the date is absent or old, then force statistics to be collected on this table.
To force database statistics on this table, in SQL*Plus or using Oracle SQL Developer, run the following SQL command.
|Notes||Note that this issue is more likely to occur immediately after a new installation and will automatically resolve itself after a period of time when database statistics are collected automatically for this table. RSA Identity Governance and Lifecycle uses a complex algorithm to determine when to run database statistics on specific tables. It may take a few days or weeks after a new installation before the algorithm targets all of the tables for database statistics.|
