The Metered Licensing tab (System view > Licensing Metered Licenses tab) has the information you need to check the status of licenses.

Quick Look

The Metered Licenses tab has one grid and an Export Usage Stats button.

Metered Licenses tab is displayed.

The following table describes the features of the Licensed Services grid.

Displays the Metered Licenses tab.

Displays the status of the license. There are four statuses:

  • Expired License
  • Over Usage Limit
  • Near Usage Limit
  • Within Usage Limit
3Displays the host and type of service to which the license is assigned.
4Displays the version number of the service.

Displays the type of license assigned to the service or host. There are license types:

  • Trial
  • Duration
  • Permanent
6Displays the daily usage of the entitled usage.
7Displays the daily average of the actual usage.
8Displays the maintenance expiration date for the permanent license or licenses.
9Displays the date on which the license or licenses expire.
10Licenses can be sorted in either ascending or descending order.
11Administrators can view the usage statistics available for NetWitness Suite services.

Note: For a trail license with zero usage of the Log Decoder or Decoder or Malware , the Expiration Date field will not display the license expiry date.
