This topic describes the procedure to delete a NetWitness Suite certificate with its private key and trusted Certificate Authority (CA) certificate.

Procedures

Delete a NetWitness Server Certificate with its Private Key

  • For a server certificate currently used by NetWitness Suite:
    1. In NetWitness Suite, go to ADMIN > Security.
      The Security view is displayed with the Users tab open.
    2. Click the Settings tab.
    3. Replace the server certificate currently used by NetWitness Suite, perform the following steps:
      1. In the Server Certificates section, import a new server certificate with its private key. For instructions, see Step 3. Import Server Certificate and Trusted CA Certificate.
      2. Select the new server certificate. 
      3. Click Use as Server Certificate.
      4. Refresh puppet agent using the following command:
        puppet agent -t
  1. Delete the old server certificate, click The delete icon.
  • For a server certificate not used by NetWitness Suite:
  1. In NetWitness Suite, go to ADMIN > Security.
    The Security view is displayed with the Users tab open.
  2. Click the Settings tab.
    In the Server Certificates section, select the certificate to delete.
  3. Delete the server certificate, click The delete icon.

Delete a Trusted CA Certificate

  1. In NetWitness Suite, go to ADMIN > Security.
    The Security view is displayed with the Users tab open.
  2. Click the Settings tab.
  3. In the CA Certificates section, select the certificate to delete.
  1. Click The delete icon.
