org.mule.retry.RetryPolicyExhaustedException: IO Error: The Network Adapter could not establish the connection (java.sql.SQLRecoverableException)

CauseThe Oracle JDBC Thin connect string was incorrect.
For example:

jdbc:oracle:thin:/@192.168.1.1:1555:AVDB

In this case, the forward slash "/" character was entered in error.
ResolutionMake sure that the Oracle JDBC Thin connect string is in the required format.
An Oracle example is:

jdbc:oracle:thin:@prodHost:1521:ORCL

To fix the string in the example, use:

jdbc:oracle:thin:@192.168.1.1:1555:AVDB

For more information, please go to the Oracle Database 12c Release 2 JDBC Developer's Guide, Chapter 5 Features Specific to JDBC Thin. Section "5.3.1 About Connecting to the Database Through the Applet" shows the syntax.
