RSA Announces the Availability of RSA Archer Release 6.3 Patch 1 HF 1

Summary:

RSA Archer Release 6.3 Patch 1 HF1 (6.3.0.1.1) is an update containing a number of fixes to the RSA Archer Platform. See the RSA Archer Platform Release Notes for additional information. 

 

Description:

An issue has been discovered with some upgrades to RSA Archer Release 6.3 and Release 6.3 Patch 1 (6.3.0.1) which could cause the upgrade to fail with foreign key constraint errors. If this occurs, the user is not able to continue with the upgrade and must restore the database from the previous release to recover the instance/server.

 

Instances that could be affected by this issue are those originally installed with RSA Archer versions pre-dating Release 5.0, particularly those instances with an original installation pre-dating Release 3.5.

 

RSA Archer Release 6.3 Patch 1 HF1 (6.3.0.1.1) is an update containing a fix to the RSA Archer Platform that eliminates this issue, as well as a cumulative roll-up of fixes delivered in Release 6.3 Patch 1.

 

Recommendation:

RSA recommends that customers upgrading to RSA Archer Release 6.3+ use this latest update. Please note that all releases are cumulative. Customers who have already successfully installed RSA Archer Release 6.3 or 6.3 Patch 1 do NOT need to apply this hotfix.
