Issue
  • The data feed's schedule unexpectedly changes from its previously configured schedule to run once per day.   
  • The schedule was not changed by any user. 
  • The data feed does not run at all on schedule, neither once per day, nor on the originally configured schedule.
CauseIf a user account with read only access to the Manage Data Feeds page attempts to start a data feed, it will break the scheduling for that data feed so that it no longer runs on any schedule.
ResolutionThis issue has been fixed in Archer 6.3.0.5 and later so to resolve this issue an Archer upgrade will be needed.
Workaround

Fixing the data feed



  1. Have an administrator account with proper permissions, correct the schedule for the data feed.
  2. Save the data feed.

Preventing the issue




  • Option 1



Inform users with read only access to the Manage Data Feeds page that they should not attempt to manually run data feeds or it will result in the loss of the existing schedule configuration and a failure of the feed to run as scheduled.



  • Option 2



Do not have any users with read only access to the Manage Data Feeds page.
