RSA announces the general availability of RSA BSAFE® Crypto-J 6.2.4 cryptographic toolkit.

RSA BSAFE® Crypto-J 6.2.4 adds supports for new Operating Environments and JDK support. It also adds support for new algorithms such as Single-Step KDF and RSA-KEM-KWS. Key Confirmation extended JCE API is also added for use in SP 800-56A and SP 800-56B Key Agreement and Key Transport schemes.

A major change is the deprecation, but still available, of the legacy JSAFE API in favor of the JCE API.

RSA strongly encourages users of the RSA BSAFE Crypto-J to upgrade to this new version. Our standard support and maintenance arrangements are contingent on users having the most up-to-date version of our software products.
