Applies ToRSA Product Set: Adaptive Authentication (OnPrem)
RSA Version/Condition: 7.3 P1 and later
Application Server: Tomcat 8
IssueAdaptive Authentication fails to respond with the following error in tomcatX-stderr.log

WARNING - Name = jdbc/PassMarkDB Property maxActive is not used in DBCP2, use maxTotal instead. maxTotal default value is 8. You have set value of "8" for "maxActive" property, which is being ignored.
WARNING - Name = jdbc/PassMarkDB Property maxWait is not used in DBCP2 , use maxWaitMillis instead. maxWaitMillis default value is -1. You have set value of "300" for "maxWait" property, which is being ignored.

CauseIn Tomcat 8 the syntax for the connection pool for maxActive and maxWait has changed.
ResolutionWhen deploying web applications on Tomcat 8, to add JDBC datasources in the server.xml file, use the maxTotal property instead of the maxActive property and the maxWaitMillis property instead of the maxWait property.
