Issue | How to connect the power cables in the 60-drive DAC to achieve power redundancy.
The 60-drive DAC has two power supply modules (A and B). Each supply supports a fully configured DAE and shares load currents with the other supply. In the 4U DAE, the power supplies provide four independent power zones. Each of the hot-swappable power supplies has the capability to deliver 1300 W at 12 V in its load-sharing highly-available configuration. However to achieve the highly-availability or power redundancy, the power supplies must be connected properly, otherwise, the DAC could lose power in some of the internal zones if there is a power failure.
