IssueIn order to remove all licensing entries and reset the licensing database on the SA, you need to reset the FNEServer Trusted Storage. See article 000013154 - Error message 'There was an error uploading your file' when attempting to upload and  000035307 - How to reset the Licensing Server (LLS / FNE) in RSA Netwitness for Logs & Packets for more information.

However, you might encounter the following error:

[root@sa~]# /opt/fneserver/bin/fneserver reset

terminate called after throwing an instance of 'std::runtime_error'
  what():  locale::facet::_S_create_c_locale name not valid
CauseThis is caused by incorrect or missing locale settings.
  1. Run the command below for the current session in the console - 

# export LC_ALL="en_US.UTF-8"

  1. Or add this to the .bashrc file.

# echo "export LC_ALL="en_US.UTF-8"" >> ~/.bashrc
# source ~/.bashrc

  1. You can verify the locate settings by running the below command.

# locale

  1. After changing the locale settings, attempt to reset the FNE Truststore again by using the following command  

/opt/fneserver/bin/fneserver reset
