IssueA Customer wants to process a list of IP addresses for an IP White List, however, the field in FI_Config load sheet can only take 200 characters.
How can a list greater than 200 characters be processed?
Resolution

The Customer will create a SalesForce case for this request.

Here are the steps that Customer Support Engineer will do  to handle a FI_Configuration loadsheet with > 200 characters in the IP Address Restriction field.

1. If there are multiple IPs that can be added as a range then put the range in and run the FI_Config if <200 characters results.

Example:  (partial list)

208.58.121.20,208.58.121.21,208.58.121.22,208.58.121.23,208.58.121.24,209.56.120.10.....etc

would be re-written as

208.58.121.20-208.58.121.24,209.56.120.10...etc

2. If after consolidating the IP ranges still have greater than 200 characters, then create a case
with SaaS Operations Help Center to have them load the IP list manually.

Note: The IP list will be added on the next Sunday's maintenance window after the Operations Change Control Board (CCB) approves.
