Overview

The RSA Authentication Manager Integration Services (AMIS) Installation and Configuration OnDemand Lab Course is designed to provide background information about AMIS: its functions and capabilities, describes the architecture and host environment for installation and details the steps for installation and initial configuration. A virtual environment is made available for hands-on practice in installing, configuring, and testing AMIS.


Audience

Technologists who will install and utilize AMIS to extend RSA Authentication Manager functions (Help Desk and Self-Service Portals) or as a foundation to support integrating other software with RSA Authentication Manager.

Note: RSA University’s on-demand lab environment is provided for 10 hours of overall practice time over a 14-day period.

Prerequisite Knowledge/Skills

Students should have familiarity with RSA Authentication Manager, Web-based application servers (Apache Tomcat is used in the lab exercises), and familiarity in working with API functions. Familiarity with Linux command line syntax and tools (vi) is helpful for ease in navigating some lab exercise steps

 

Course Objectives
Upon successful completion of this course, participants should be able to:

• Understand the purpose and scope of the AMIS API and tools

• Know the requirements for hosting an AMIS installation

• Know how to install AMIS

• Know how to configure and test AMIS for basic operations
