    Summary

Implementation of a Push Notification system within Archer to save the user time and provide an improved engagement over conventional email channels.

    Detail

Many services today support and utilize a push mechanism to inform users about updates or new information that action needs to be taken. Many users are moving away from monitoring email communications as diligently as they have in the past. These users are favoring more Just in Time notifications such as can be seen on many popular websites.

By implementing a Push Notification service for Archer, users can receive an additional notification by way of their web-browser if a given situation requires urgent feedback. Some benefits may include:

    • More timely flow of information / updates / approvals
    • No software installations
    • Easy opt-in/out
