Common User Schema Migration Dashboard
RSA Cloud Access Service (CAS) uses a common user schema that maps attributes from external identity sources to a standardized set of user attributes. You configure policies, applications, and other features using common attribute names, such as Username and Email Address, instead of identity source-specific attribute names. For example, you can use Username instead of SAMAccountName or uid.
The Common User Schema Migration Dashboard displays the migration status, previews the changes that occur during migration, and identifies any actions that you must complete before migration. Most deployments are migrated automatically on the scheduled migration date, but you can also start the migration manually.
Start Manual Migration
When the status in the Migration Details section is Ready for Migration, you can start the migration before the scheduled migration date.
Procedure
In the Cloud Administration Console, click Home.
In the Cloud Administration Dashboard, click More Details next to Common User Schema Migration Status.
In the Migration Details section, click Migrate Now. If any validation messages appear in the Migration Preview section, resolve the reported issues before continuing.
After you finish
Review the migration results. The Migration Preview section includes a post-migration report that shows the configuration changes applied during migration. Use this report to review the previous configuration and the updates applied during the migration.
Note: If the migration status is On Hold, Action Needed for Migration, expand the items in the Migration Preview section and complete the required actions. If you cannot resolve an issue, contact RSA Technical Support.
Update Migration Preview
Click Update Migration Preview to refresh the migration preview and review the latest configuration changes before performing the migration.
Print Migration Preview
You can save the migration preview results as a PDF to create an audit record of all changes resulting from the schema migration.
Procedure
In the Cloud Administration Console, click Home.
In the Cloud Administration Dashboard, click More Details next to Common User Schema Migration Status.
Click Update Migration Preview to generate the latest preview results.
In the Migration Preview section, expand all sections to include all schema migration changes in the report.
Use your browser's print function (Ctrl+P or Cmd+P) and select Save as PDF to create an audit record of the migration changes.
Note: Turn off headers and footers in the print settings to prevent URLs, page titles, dates, and page numbers from overlapping content or reducing the available page content.
